Note b): Predicted TI values are only estimates and should not be used outside above mentioned range of frog-derived helical peptides. Within that range calculated TI values by the deserv1 can not be used to distinguish peptide hemolytics (toxins) from mediocre peptide antibiotics with low selectivity. The best usage of calculated TI values is for frog-derived peptide antibiotics, expected to have high selectivity, as fast and easy confirmation that such expectations are well enough grounded to justify synthesis and testing of modified peptides.
